The base wine for this sparkling wine was made exclusively from the Terrantez do Pico variety and fermented in a stainless steel tank.
The second fermentation was carried out in the bottle using the classic method at 14˚C. Degorgement done in December 2019.
Very fine and persistent bubble.
It is a sparkling wine that cannot hide its origin. As notes of seaweed, iodine and sea air mix with some bakery resulting from aging with some lightness for 3 years in bottle.
In the mouth the bubble, balancing and having a very elegant quality that the wine has. Finishes long and has an unmistakably salty feel.
